Whether you are feeling angry, anxious, ashamed, belittled, betrayed, discouraged, depressed, confused, hurt, lonely, addicted or numb our Team is committed to your emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.

Counselling sessions are 50-60 minutes long and are provided by a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or an intern. Please arrive ten minutes before your first appointment to complete the Intake and Consent Forms. You can prepare for the session by reading Five Ways To Benefit From Counselling. There is a $20 suggested minimum payment although there are other payment options upon request.
Inner Healing sessions are 90-120 minutes long and are provided by two trained prayer team members. Please arrive ten minutes before your first appointment to complete the Intake and Consent Forms. You can prepare for the session by reading Identifying Emotional Wounds and understanding the Basic Principles. There is no cost for these sessions.

Beliefs – We do not direct your spiritual journey unless requested. You do not need to agree with the Values of this organization to be eligible for this service.
Tax Receiptable Donations – Counselling sessions are $75.00 but are generously subsidized by Evangel Church, therefore any charitable receipts can be only be issued for donations above the $75.00 counselling service fee. Your financial supporot through donations is vital to keep this service available to our community. Donations can be made directly through the church office or through our Online Giving.Number of Sessions - You may book one session at a time. This is provided on a first come first serve basis.
Q – How do I know if I need counselling or Inner Healing Prayer?
A – Counselling provides a safe place to talk. It is a time to look at rational and emotional and behavioural ways to manage the pain inside, discover new behaviours, work on steps to recovery, manage conflicted relationships, manage anger or continue with support on your journey of vulnerability and emotional health. Inner Healing is a prayer based session where you receive truths from God as you address the painful lies you are believeing about yourself and God. It is not a counselling based session. It is entirely your decision to make.
Q – What if I am not a member of Evangel Church?A – This service is available to anyone who asks. It does not matter if you are a member of this church or any church.
Q – What if I am unable to attend my appointment?A – Please call the ministry assistant ASAP.
Q - Can I donate using a credit card?
A – Yes
Q – Who will see my file?
A – All files are kept in a locked cabinet. Your counsellor, the supervisor and the ministry assistant are the only ones with access to your records. You may request copies of your file notes at any time.
