Dear Friends - Shalom from Jerusalem!

2008 marks 25 years since the Lord began this work in Jerusalem. It started as a home group - a very small beginning. But it has grown into something bigger than I could have ever imagined.

King of Kings has been a true work of grace and I am both humbled and awed at what God has done. I am also grateful for the hundreds of partners who have helped us touch the lives of people in Israel and around the world.

This December will mark six years since we signed the purchase agreement and established the Jerusalem Pavilion. To date we have received $7 million in gifts; that's 70% of the $10 million it cost to build both our Worship Center and Prayer Tower. This has, unmistakably, been God at work.

Recently, as I was weighing our remaining obligations, I read Exodus 21:2. The Lord said, concerning the Hebrew slave who has obligations to his master:

"[He] may serve for no more than six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom."

This verse awakened fresh faith in my spirit to believe that by the end of 2008 we could achieve freedom after six years of financial obligations. What a way to celebrate God's grace during the past 25 years of ministry in Israel!
